 Deu to the rise of living standards ,most students in campuses have engaged themselves in different small businesses activities to generate income .Being in college does not hinder you from starting your own business. 

Some students have come up with ideas like 

1)Video Gaming 

Gaming is fast becoming a popular pass time activity in kenya and most youths like it more so the campus students 

2)Photocopy Shops

Where teaching and learning is taking place ,photocopy services are paramount and madatory for assignments .

3)Cyber Cafe

We are in a digital error and people want to get information acrossthe globe .Lectures and students are doing more research. 

4)Mpesa shops

Most students are engaging in this business because transactions must be made in daily basis because of densly population of students 

5)Start Fast food Cafe

Due to alot of activities in the campuses,students dont get opportunity to cook in their hostels they will need fast food like viazi ,tatu pojo,juices etc

6)Selling of sweets ,water ,biscuits 

Since most students sits in groups and are passing time ,in company of this the sale outs would be massive

7)Photoshoot

Since students want quality pictures ,photographers have taken it as a side job beside school and its a daily paying job 

8)Hawking of clothes 

Fashion is on treand among students,and they want to look great ,selling of mitumba and boutique clothes from one hostel to another can be a good ideal to generate money for a willing student.

Small business created by students are important because they provide opportunities for entrepreneurs and job satisfaction and keeping money close to them.
